Do I have to go to church every Sunday?

Have your kids ever asked you this? How about your friends? Or have you asked this?  The first problem with this question is that we don't go to church, we meet with the church. In Acts 2:47 it says, "The Lord added to the church daily such as were being saved." Obviously this was people not wood boards. Secondly, if this is our attitude we have a problem. Being a Christian should be a way of life not a Sunday activity. In Romans 12:1 Paul says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." A living sacrifice is much more than an hour a week. That is our reasonable service, not anything except that. If we don't enjoy being with fellow Christians we will be miserable in heaven. Hope to see you Sunday!
